MyUniWise (“we”, “us”) is a college-discovery product being built for students in India and the families helping them. This policy explains what we collect when you use myuniwise.com, myuniwise.tekloomy.in, or join our waitlist, and how we use it.
Who we are
MyUniWise is operated by Tekloomy. For privacy questions, write to support@tekloomy.in.
What we collect
- Waitlist email. If you join the waitlist, we store the email address you type in the form.
- Messages you send us. If you email support, we keep that correspondence so we can reply.
- Basic technical data. Our host may log your IP address, browser type, and the time of a request, to keep the site running and to limit spam on the waitlist form.
We do not ask for your name, phone number, exam scores, or payment details on this waitlist site. We do not sell personal information.
How we use it
- To confirm you joined the waitlist and to email you when MyUniWise opens or when a tool you are waiting for is ready.
- To notice a new signup on our support inbox so we can run the waitlist.
- To prevent abuse of the form and to fix outages.
We send those waitlist emails through Google’s Gmail SMTP service, from support@tekloomy.in. We will not use your address for unrelated marketing.
Sharing
We share personal data only with the services that send and host mail (currently Google), our hosting provider, and people on the MyUniWise team who need it to reply to you. We do not share waitlist emails with colleges, advertisers, or data brokers.
We may disclose information if the law requires it, or to protect the site and our users from fraud or abuse.
Retention
We keep waitlist emails until you ask us to remove them, or until the waitlist is closed after launch and we no longer need the list to invite you. Support emails are kept as long as needed to finish the conversation and meet legal record-keeping duties.
Your choices
You can ask us to see, correct, or delete the email we hold for you, or to stop waitlist mail. Write to support@tekloomy.in from the address you used to join. If you are in India, you also have rights under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, including the right to withdraw consent and to complain to the Data Protection Board of India.
Children
MyUniWise is meant for students exploring college, including minors with a parent or guardian. We only collect an email on this site. If you believe a child has given us an email without a parent’s knowledge, contact us and we will delete it.
Cookies and local storage
The waitlist page may save a flag in your browser (local storage) so we do not ask you to join twice on the same device. We do not use advertising cookies on this site.
Security
We use HTTPS and limit who can read the waitlist inbox. No method of transmission is perfectly secure; please do not send exam scores, identity documents, or passwords to the waitlist form.
Changes
If we change this policy in a material way, we will update the date above. If you are already on the waitlist, we will email you when the change affects how we use your address.
